CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - An autopsy performed on a Carmel teenager who died in the last week revealed he likely died from the amount of alcohol he consumed.
Brett Finbloom, 18, died after celebrating with friends before they all left to go to college. He had been drinking.
The Hamilton County coroner said Wednesday that Finbloom’s death appears “consistent with acute ethanol intoxication.” There were no external injuries that caused his death.
The official declaration on the manner of his death won’t be made until the coroner’s office receives toxicology results for Finbloom.
It's possible the new Lifeline law in Indiana could have saved Finbloom , who was a soccer player headed to college in a week.
