FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Two firefighters suffered minor injuries as they battled a warehouse fire Thursday afternoon in Fishers.
Crews were called to Advanced Radiant Systems, 12910 Ford Drive, at about 12:20 p.m. Thursday, and they found heavy smoke coming from the building. They immediately called for assistance.
Employees tried to fight the fire before calling 911, Fishers Fire Department said. The building had no sprinkler or alarm systems.
It took firefighters more than three hours to get the fire under control, and emergency crews were still on the scene more than five hours later.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, Fishers Fire Department said.
Police are investigating after an overnight shooting left one person dead.
