Fire damages Fisher's Strip Mall

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Fishers firefighters battled a blaze Saturday morning near East 96 th Street and Mollenkopf Road.

Fire officials say the fire started at 8:00 a.m. in the C R Hero’s Family Pub.

Firefighters report that upon arrival they found heavy smoke inside and fire in the rear storage room.

The fire was extinguished in less than an hour, but they continued to work on some hot spots.  

Flames were confined to the C R Hero’s.  Firefighters say there was some smoke damage to adjacent businesses which included a paint store, Pizza store, cleaners, and drug store.

No one was hurt. Fire crews are currently looking into the cause of the blaze and extent of damage.
