FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Fishers Police Department is asking residents to be extra cautious after a resident reported a man acting strangely around her children.
Fishers PD said a homeowner’s three kids were playing in their yard in the 10700 block of Windermere Boulevard on Monday when they were approached by a man in a red jeep. The man yelled to the children, asking them if they wanted to pet his dog. The children immediately ran inside to tell their mother what had just happened. The family reported the incident to police.
The suspect is a white male, 40 to 50 years old, with gray hair and balding. He was driving a red jeep with a tire on the back.
Fishers Police say the investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking area residents to keep a watchful eye on their children and immediately report any suspicious activity.
