FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Fishers Police have detained one man, but are still looking for two other suspects involved in a jewelry heist Monday morning.
Police say around 10:30 a.m., two black males entered the Jewelry Gallery at 116th and Allisonville Road. One male and one female employee were working at the store during the armed robbery. They were held at gunpoint before being bound by the suspects. The pair of suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of property from the store.
A short time later, one of the employees was able to free himself. He gave officers a description of the getaway car. Police stopped a car matching that description at 106th and Allisonville, detaining the driver at the scene. He was transported to the Fishers Police Department to meet with investigators.
Meanwhile, Fishers Police set up a perimeter and used K-9 units to search for two additional suspects. Officers were unable to locate the other suspects.
Police say the other suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
