NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Five Noblesville homes were evacuated as a precaution after a construction worker struck a gas main.
Noblesville Fire Department dispatchers said a 3-inch gas main ruptured as a construction site in the 15400 block of Harmon Place.
The neighborhood is Cumberland Pointe, between 146th Street and Greenfield Avenue. The gas company was on the scene, Noblesville Fire Department said.
As of around 1:15 p.m., the gas leak was stopped.
