FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - The official opening for the St. Vincent Hospital in Fishers is still three weeks away, but 24-Hour News 8 got a sneak peel at the new facility Wednesday.
The 110,000 square foot expansion focuses on wellness, women’s health and family health.
The new hospital encompasses 30 medical and surgical beds and is the inpatient complement to the freestanding outpatient center that’s been on-site for the last four years, said Gary Fammartino, a spokesperson for St. Vincent Hospital.
“What we want to do is partner with the community, keep them well, and when they need us, we’ll be here for that, for the inpatient,” he said.
The St. Vincent team is working toward getting LEED certification for Fishers Hospital, which will officially open on April 8.
