Man arrested after officer struck directing traffic

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - A Zionsville man was arrested Wednesday night after police say he struck an officer directing traffic at Crooked Stick Golf Club.

Officer Cody Barlow was trying to stop westbound traffic when 57-year-old Keith Foster struck Barlow with a Saturn Vue. Barlow hit the hood, windshield and right side view mirror. He was treated at a hospital and released.

Foster was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury and criminal recklessness with a vehicle.
