CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - A Waste Management driver aided police in stopping two thieves at the BMW Championship during the recent PGA Tour.

Around midnight on Sept. 8, Bill Cunningham was working when he noticed suspicious activity nearby. Cunningham notified the Carmel police who arrested two suspects for stealing $1,000 worth of alcohol from a booth.

Cunningham was later given an honorary certificate from the Carmel Police Department and received a letter from Chief of Police Timothy Green thanking him for his actions.

Waste Management provides trash services and environmental solutions.
