INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Moving trucks were seen outside of Tim Durham’s Geist area home Tuesday morning.

Durham runs financial companies which are being investigated by both state and federal authorities.

WISH-TV cameras captured two Atlas moving vans in the driveway of the home and several smaller vans were at both the front and rear of the home. Boxes could be seen stacked up in a second story room of the home.

It's still not clear why the moving vans were there.

A local realtor told 24 Hour News 8 the house is not listed for sale. An attorney representing investors who have been trying to recover money from Durham's Fair Finance, in Akron Ohio told 24-Hour News 8, Fair Finance was forced into bankruptcy last Friday and a bankruptcy trustee appointed.

But the attorney said the bankruptcy and the trustee only apply to the assets of Fair Finance and not to Durham's personal property.

In a court document filed on February 10, Durham's attorney denied Durham was selling off cars, artwork and other expensive items.

24-Hour News 8 tried contacting the FBI, the bankruptcy trustee and others involved with the case but were not able to find out exactly what's going on.

But the attorney for the investors says at this point, Durham is legally allowed to do whatever he wants with his personal assets, including moving them.
