No new charges yet in Carmel case

DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - No charges will be filed Friday against two ex-Carmel Basketball players accused of assaulting a younger teammate on a team bus.

Hendricks County Prosecutor Patricia Ann Baldwin reports the investigation is still ongoing and says there is no timeline as to when charges will be filed.

Charges against Brandon Hoge and Robert Kitzinger were dropped in Hamilton County because investigators determined the incident actually took place in Hendricks County.

Because Baldwin is conducting her own investigation, the two teens could end up facing tougher charges than the battery charges they faced in Hamilton County.
