Police ID woman killed on I-69

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Fishers Police have identified the woman who was killed on Interstate 69 Wednesday as 44-year-old Linda Jackson of Indianapolis.

Witnesses told police Jackson ran in front of a semi-tractor trailer about 2:20 p.m. near the 8 mile marker.

Prior to the accident, police received several calls about a woman running in front of vehicles.

The incident is still under investigation.
