CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - Police in Carmel say they have two suspects in custody and are searching for one other after a stolen vehicle crashed into a wall of a parking garage near the Palladium.
Around 4:10 a.m., police say a black Chevrolet Suburban crashed into the wall of the parking garage along City Center Drive.
The scene is a ramp to the upper level of City Center parking garage. Police say the suspects exited the car while it was still rolling across the ramp. Officers say three subjects jumped from the parking garage to the ground below and fled.
One of the suspects was apprehended a short time later just west of the parking garage near the Monon Trail. The suspect reportedly suffered a broken leg and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
A second suspect was apprehended shortly before 6 a.m. hiding under a Winnebago near Third Avenue SW and
Gradle Drive.
Carmel Police setup a perimeter and continued to search the surrounding area Tuesday morning.
The vehicle was reportedly stolen from a nearby complex southwest of the Palladium.
