CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - Carmel Police are warning residents about a series of catalytic converter thefts in their city.

The first theft occurred at Five Seasons, 1300 E. 96th Street, and the latest happened St. Vincent Health, 10330 North Meridian Street.

In both cases, police say the thieves targeted a Honda Pilot and Honda Element.

Police ask citizens to keep a lookout for any suspicious behavior. They say the thieves will walk or drive through parking lots looking for specific or easy-to-target vehicles.

The most common targets, police say, are SUVs.

If you see anything suspicious, call the Carmel Police Department: 317-571-2580 or Call 911 in an emergency.
