Smoke fills Fishers BMV

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - The Fishers Fire Department was called to the BMV Monday after smoke filled the facility.
Firefighters were called to the Fishers Bureau of Motor Vehicles located at 3 Municipal Drive around 12:30 p.m. after a smoke alarm sounded in the facility.
When crews arrived on scene, they found smoke and haze throughout the facility. No fire was found on scene.
Firefighters later found a smoking soda machine in the break room. Crews quickly reset the alarm system and the building was secured.
Business at the BMV was not interrupted, as the BMV is closed on Mondays.
