Sprinkler mishap floods Noblesville HS

NOBLESVILLE (WISH) - Noblesville High School got wet Tuesday evening it wasn’t because of the rain.

Firefighters say someone threw a Lacrosse ball and hit a sprinkler head in a hallway. The rubber ball broke the water line feeding the sprinkler.

Crews eventually shut off the water but not before more than 4,000 gallons of water poured into the hallway.

School officials say the incident would not interrupt Wednesday’s school schedule.
