NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Traffic is back to normal on SR 37 in Noblesville following a
bad accident involving a car and semi.
Police believe the semi was traveling southbound on SR 37 and
stopped for a traffic light at Pleasant Street. That’s when a
1991 Buick rear ended the semi.
The impact of the crash caused the Buick to become lodged
under the trailer and the driver had to be extricated.
The driver of the Buick was taken via a lifeline helicopter
to Methodist Hospital. The driver’s condition is unknown at
this time.
The driver of the semi was treated and released at the scene.
The northbound lanes of SR 37 were closed for about an hour
to accommodate the lifeline helicopter. And, southbound lanes of SR
37 were closed about 2 hours so the accident could be reconstructed
and debris could be cleaned up.
A couple from Benton County was arrested for meth Saturday afternoon.
