NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - State Health Department officials confirmed a reported case of the measles within the city of Noblesville.

On Friday , Noblesville officials said an employee of the street department contracted the virus. It marks the 14th confirmed case of the highly-contagious disease in Central Indiana.

On Monday, state health department officials said it was a confirmed case, which means it stems from the initial case identified in early February.
