NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Twenty-nine students received the measles vaccine in a vaccination clinic held Thursday morning at a Noblesville School.

The clinic come just a day after the school district and the Hamilton County Health Department announced students who have not been vaccinated would be barred from attending classes amid the ongoing measles outbreak.

The Hamilton County Health Department will hold a vaccination clinic from 1 – 4 p.m. Thursday.

The Indiana State Department of Health said Thursday there are still only 13 confirmed cases in central Indiana yet the agency is continuing to investigate potential cases.

Afterschool classes were canceled Wednesday due to the spread of measles at Noblesville Intermediate and White River Elementary schools. School officials said events would be held as scheduled on Thursday.
