Swanky Indy 500 Soiree attracts celebs

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - A swanky party at the Lucas estate attracted celebs in the run-up to Sunday’s Indy 500.

It was the first of what’s intended to be an annual event, dubbed the Indy 500 Soiree.

Drivers who will compete Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway were among those walking the white carpet at the home of Forest and Charlotte Lucas, owners of Lucas Oil.

Other celebrities at the party included country music icon Garth Brooks and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda.
