FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Some music lovers braved triple digit temps to hear the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra pay tribute to the Bee Gees.
The Marsh Symphony on the Prairie performance kicked off shorty after 8 p.m., but spectators arrived at 6 p.m. to grab a seat in the shade.
Oscillating fans were placed on the stage to help keep the musicians comfortable. Organizers also had plenty of water on deck for orchestra members.
Friday's intermission was extended to allow the orchestra members - who wore all black for the first set - time to cool off in an air conditioned space.
Organizers were catering to the fans as well. The portable bathrooms were equipped with AC units.
Friday night 1,447 people attended the concert.
