CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - Three people were arrested on drug-related charges this week after investigations by the Hamilton-Boone County Drug Task Force.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Matthew Kanzler, of Thornton, after police say they found the remnants of a methamphetamine lab. Kanzler is facing preliminary charges of manufacturing meth and possession of two or more precursors.
Two other arrests were made in Hamilton County. Officers there arrested 57-year-old Debra Bootier and 50-year-old James Bootier. Both are facing preliminary charges of dealing a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. The arrests of the Bootiers were the result of a three-month investigation by the task force.
The Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force consists of officers from the Carmel Police Department, Fishers Police Department, Lebanon Police Department, The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Zionsville Police Department, with support from the Hamilton and Boone County Prosecutor’s offices.
