HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Power was restored to Hamilton County residents after they lost electricity for about three hours on Monday.
The outage was an area from Cumberland Road to Geist and south of 116th Street.
More than 2,000 Duke Energy customers lost power around 6:40 a.m. and it was restored at 9:40 a.m., Duke spokesman Lew Middleton said.
Middleton said Duke crews found a bad piece of underground cable. The power company's crews were able to reroute around the bad cable to restore power.
