NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Wet and slushy road conditions may have contributed to a two-vehicle crash in Noblesville that shut down Ind. 37.
A Toyota Camry and a Saturn Vue collided on Ind. 37 at Field Drive around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Noblesville Police Department officials said a 17-year-old driving the Camry was attempting to turn right onto Field Drive when he slid into the driver’s side of the Vue. Both vehicles landed in a ditch as a result and the drivers were trapped in their vehicles.
The road was wet and slushy at the time of the crash.
Both drivers were taken to Riverview Hospital in Noblesville for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Ind. 37 was closed for a little more than an hour as a result of the accident. It has since re-opened.
