INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said crews are working to fix a water main break at 34th Street and Lafayette Avenue.
One north lane and both south lanes on Lafayette Avenue are now open, said Sarah Holsapple with Indianapolis Water Company. All lanes at the intersection were closed for about 5 hours.
Dispatch said the break occurred around 2:35 a.m.
Due to the cold temperature, the water over the road is turning into ice.
