INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Five people were hurt in a two car crash that occurred Sunday morning on the city's east side.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. at 3820 Kessler Boulevard East Drive.

A 17-year-old male was driving a Pontiac Bonneville and 37-year-old Stacy Lynn Johnson was driving a Kia Sorento.

Police say it appears one of the drivers lost control and crossed the center line, hitting the other.

Johnson had three children inside of the Sorento at the time of the crash.

It took medics several minutes to get all of the victims out of the cars.

All five were taken to St. Vincent Hospital in stable condition.
