INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Super Bowl brought millions of out of town dollars to the Circle City. Now representatives from the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors association say they don't want that hype to fizzle.
To keep the tourists coming, the ICVA is launching a commercial campaign. The commercials will feature Indianapolis attractions and air in five Midwest cities. Organizers say the goal is to attract regional tourism dollars.
“We know we are not a place people necessarily take their vacations, but we are a quick getaway for a lot of Midwest cities, so we are trying to show off the great family attractions we have here,” said Jeff Robinson, with ICVA.
Ten Indianapolis attractions are featured in the campaign, including the Children’s Museum, the Indianapolis Zoo and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
