INIDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - It was an emotional homecoming as the final group of Indiana Army National Guard soldiers came back home.

Monday night family and friends greeted more than 20 soldiers from the 76th Infantry Brigade at the Indianapolis International Airport.

The group served in Iraq for 9 months. Their arrival comes on the heels of more than 3,000 soldiers who returned home over the past few weeks.

"It's been a long, long tour, but now to be back home and to finally have our feet back on home soil is a wonderful thing," said Brian Booth, Indiana National Guard.

The soldiers are now headed to Camp Atterbury to be demobilized.
