INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police were marking off a crime scene at a Fountain Square business Thursday morning, and federal officials said it was in connection to the Outlaws motorcycle club.
Nine warrants had been issued, two for Outlaws and seven for others who work with the club, officials said. This comes after dozens of people were indicted on charges including racketeering, money laundering and tampering with witnesses, and clubs in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne were raided in July .
Officers were stringing crime scene tape at Sidewinders bar and grill Thursday morning at Naomi Street and State Avenue. Warrants were also being served around noon at Club Paradise in Fountain Square.
U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett is expected to speak later in the day.
