INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Commuters should have an easier time getting to work Tuesday morning.

The final closure related to a tanker explosion from last Thursday reopened at around 4:30 a.m.

Drivers are now being allowed to travel on the ramp from I-69 southbound to I-465 southbound.

Crews opened I-465 eastbound Monday after finishing up repair work on the column knocked out during the crash and explosion.

As for the driver of that tanker, Ronald Tobias, he's now recovering from his injuries at his home in Syracuse in northern Indiana.

Police have given him two citations for speeding and changing lanes unsafely.

Tobias could pay as much as a $1,000 in fines.
