INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Phillip Caler, 16, of Booker, Texas remains in critical condition after a two-story fall in Circle Centre Mall on Thursday.
And a new Facebook page is just part of the FFA response to Caler's tragic fall.
It's labeled "Thoughts and prayers for Phillip Caler" and already over 500 people have clicked on it.
Caler plays football and basketball at a small school with just 105 students in Booker, Texas. He is an officer in the FFA chapter. When word arrived there that Caler lost his balance and fell two stories suffering critical injuries, the community rallied behind him and his family.
Superintendent Mike Lee told 24-Hour News 8 in a telephone interview that school is going on, but not as normal.
"Our students are, you know, they're praying a lot for him and we're going on about our business and trying to keep focused on what we need to do," said Lee.
Caler is one of sic students from Booker to come to the FFA convention in Indianapolis.
Superintendent Lee now hopes he will survive the experience, "We are somewhat optimistic," said Lee. "You know, physically, he has injuries from which he can recover."

It states he broke facial bones, an arm, a shoulder blade and his pelvis.
