INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - It will be slightly less busy this holiday week at Indianapolis International Airport than this time last year.
The Indianapolis Airport Authority said Tuesday that nine fewer flights and about 2,200 fewer seats were available. But Christofer Matney, air services director with the Airport Authority, said don't let that fool you.
"The demand, according to TSA is definitely going to be up there,” he said. “So we're definitely going to see full planes, 90 percent or higher, going through the holiday season."
The Airport Authority estimates more than 137,000 passengers will fly through Indianapolis International between Wednesday and Sunday.
