INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Airport Authority Friday agreed to a $1.3 million contract with Landrum & Brown for a study that will shape future plans for land use and developments at airports within the system.
The study is slated to take several months, culminating with a presentation of aviation and non-aviation plans before the end of the year.
As part of the study, Landrum & Brown will study property to determine what should be used for airport development and what can be developed as non-aviation development.
The study will evaluate Indianapolis International Airport, Eagle Creek Airport, Hendricks County Airport, the Indianapolis Downtown Heliport, Metropolitan Airport and Mount Comfort Airport. The former Speedway Airport land will also be included in the study.
