INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An ambulance responding to a call crashed into three electric poles Wednesday morning, sending one person to the hospital with minor injuries.

It happened before 10 a.m. at 10th Street and Elder Avenue on the city’s near west side.

While crashing into the poles, the ambulance also struck a small bus. A person on the bus was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Indianapolis Power and Light crews were still there around 10:15 a.m. and weren’t sure how long it would take to repair the damage. 10th Street was closed in the area, and cars were being directed around the closure.
