INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Dunkin Donuts, located at 9926 E. 79th Street was robbed early Saturday morning.
The store manager and an employee were present in the business when a black male entered the store just after 5 a.m., according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police.
The man displayed a chrome or silver, semi-automatic pistol, and waved the manager and employee to the back of the store. The man then demanded money from the safe and took both a cash deposit and cash drawer.
While the manager was getting the money, the suspect took the store managers phone and put it behind a box. He then put the money in a paper bag and left the store through the rear exit door.
The Dunkin Donuts employee who was present at the store says this is the same suspect from a prior robbery six weeks ago at the same location.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, 6 feet 1 inch tall to 6 feet 5 inches tall, with medium complexion. The man was wearing a black ball cap with royal blue piping and was also wearing a long sleeve, athletic style shirt, black nylon pants, and had a blue towel covering his face.
The suspect was also wearing rimmed glasses and was possibly carrying a silver semi-automatic pistol and another black one.
His build is described as thin to athletic.
