INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Arsenal Technical High School is celebrating their centennial this weekend.
To mark the event, a neighborhood parade was held Saturday, followed by a stadium event and picnic.
In the parade were Tech dignitaries and representatives of various decades, including vintage cars, current and past Tech principals and local celebrities, according to a previous release.
24-Hour News 8's Juilan Grace emceed the event. Grace is a Tech alum.
"It is very special. We have alumni here back to 1930," said Megan Sullivan, Arsenal Tech's Centennial Spokesperson. "It is really unique to see all of those alumni interact with the current students and see all the changes that have happened on this campus."
Following the parade, guests gathered in the Longshore Stadium for a short ceremony to celebrate Arsenal Technical High School’s 100th birthday.
The ceremony was complete with a birthday cake, decorated with 100 candles.
