INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Despite original information from BP that bad gasoline was only sent to stations in Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area, officials said Wednesday that multiple stations throughout and around Indianapolis were affected.
Some of the bad gas was delivered to these Indianapolis BP stations:
BP stations in surrounding communities were also affected. Search for your gas station here.
Officials from BP said the bad gas didn't include regular unleaded, which is the most popular seller.
Not all cars that visited the stations would have received the bad gas, according to BP. Anyone who visited one of the stations and has a car experiencing hard starting, rough idling, stalling, or other drivability issues, should have the car towed to a repair shop to be checked out and call 1-800-333-3991 or 1-800-599-9040 to make a claim.
