INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck a bicyclist early Thursday morning on the city’s northwest side.
Around 2:15 am a second motorist came upon a bicycle in the middle of the roadway and the rider lying injured nearby on West 86 th Street and Commerce Park Place.
The male rider was taken to St. Vincent Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Police say the rider was not immediately able to give a description of the vehicle that struck him and then fled the scene.
IMPD officers collected evidence at the scene and their investigation continues.
