INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indiana's largest single-day blood drive is set this weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium, and if you want to participate, you should schedule your appointment now.

Indiana Blood Center's 13th annual push in conjunction with the Colts this year has special meaning, with coach Chuck Pagano's high-profile battle against leukemia, which has raised awareness of the need.

Donors in Saturday's blood drive will receive footballs with Pagano's picture on them. The blood drive is set from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the stadium. If you'd like to make an appointment, call 1-800-632-4722 or log onto colts.com/bleedblue . As of midday Wednesday, only 424 appointments of the 2,700 initially available remained.

If you can't or don't want to donate blood, though, you can still attend the event, which includes a health fair and other family-friendly activities. Details on the event are available at the Colts website .
