INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Tree trimmers discovered the body of a man in his late 40’s Tuesday while working in a park near 32nd and Rader Streets in Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police tell 24-Hour News 8 they determined the man’s identification via the driver’s license in his wallet. Police say they do not suspect foul play in the man’s death.
Police declined to release the man’s identity at the scene saying they were still working to notify next-of-kin.
An officer at the scene reports the man matches the description of the person sought in a missing person case.
Officers were dispatched on a "death investigation" just before 9:46 a.m. Tuesday.
