INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Results from the autopsy on the body found Wednesday in a park in southeastern Marion County did not bring a close to any of the prominent missing persons cases in central Indiana.

Police said Thursday that the remains were determined to be a white man in his 50s. His identification was not being released, pending notification of his family.

Detectives do not believe foul play was involved in the man’s death.

The news confirms that investigations into the disappearance of Indiana University student Lauren Spierer , 20, who went missing from Bloomington on June 3, and Dorothy Heard , 74, who vanished from Noblesville on June 13, and Morgan Johnson , 27, last seen in Plainfield, continue.
