BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH) - Police are investigating a home invasion on the 900 block of Classon Lane in Beech Grove.

According to investigators, the suspect knocked on a door and asked a woman for directions. The man then forced his way into the home and told the woman he had a gun. The suspect then escorted the woman into a bedroom and forced her to hide under the covers.

Meanwhile, the man broke all the phones inside the home. He then ransacked the house, going through the victim’s wallet, jewelry box, and several other boxes in her closet.

Moments later, the woman heard a car start and noticed the suspect leaving in a blue rusty small car, she later told police.

The Beech Grove Police Department is actively seeking tips in this case.
