INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Butler University lost power due to a lightning strike early Saturday afternoon, causing some buildings to be evacuated.

The lightning struck the Butler Power Plant, according to a Butler tweet.

An afternoon performance of Les Miserables at Clowes Hall was interrupted due to the outage and many other buildings on campus lost power.

Power has since been restored to the campus and no one was injured during the incident.

A release stated that the matinee performance of Les Miserables was cut short due to safety concerns.

Ticketholders of that performance should retain their tickets and more information will be available on Monday, April 16th on the Clowes Hall, Broadway Across America and TicketMaster websites.

As for all remaining performances of Les Miserable, they will go on as scheduled.
