INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are looking for the driver who crashed his vehicle onto a west side car sales lot and then fled early Friday morning.
Around 3:20 AM police say a driver crashed his vehicle at West 16th Street and North Goodlet Avenue.
The eastbound vehicle appeared to have been going at a high rate of speed, left the roadway, struck a fence, some shrubs, and a business sign before flipping over onto a Durango.
Eight vehicles on the lot of Honest Abe Auto Sales were damaged.
Even though the car flipped onto its roof, the driver managed to escape the wreckage and flee to another vehicle that witnesses say was last seen going eastbound on 16th street.
