A gasoline leak at a Shell gas station caused traffic to be …

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - In October, the City-County Council approved a 2013 IndyGo budget which will offer additional operating revenue for service enhancements. The budget includes an additional $6 million to support the growing demand for transit.
Changes to the popular service include more frequent services, new routes and more direct routing, according to an IndyGo release.
Improvements to the system will begin as soon as February.
The proposed changes and implementation timeline were presented to the public at two hearings on Wednesday at the Indiana History Center downtown.
A possible change would be a new route on the city’s north side at the 86th Street Crosstown. This will run from Trader’s Point to Community Hospital North.
IndyGo hopes to have all changes approved by December.
