IPS school lockdown lifted

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Charles Warren Fairbanks Elementary School lockdown was lifted Tuesday morning.
The school was put on lockdown for a little over an hour due to police activity in the area, says John Althardt spokesperson for Indianapolis Public Schools.
The school is located near 42nd and Post Road on Indianapolis' east side.
All students and staff are safe.
