INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A start up church's trailer, musical instruments and equipment were stolen only months after starting up.

The Southeast Project says their trailer was stolen recently. It was insured, and in the meantime they have received a lot of donations and help from parishioners and other churches.

Lead pastor, Ryan Carrell, tells 24-Hour News 8 that they have a message for the thieves and it's the same message they took away from this ordeal.

"We just want to know, what do you need? Was there a need like were you trying to pay rent or put food on the table, or clothes, cause that’s what we're here for. We don’t want to turn you into the police, we want to help you out."

The church says that they have most of their musical instruments and equipment replaced. They also had insurance on the trailer and are waiting on their claim.
