INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Hundreds of volunteers will gather to install the Circle of Lights on Monument Circle Saturday morning.

Over 200 volunteer union electricians gather on the circle each year to string the lights for the Christmas tree centerpiece. Volunteers have gathered each year, rain or shine, to string the lights.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the holiday tradition.

The centerpiece consists of 4,784 lights and 52 garland strands. We have a crew on the circle and will bring you photos from this year's installation on WISHTV.com.
