Top city safety officials to discuss alleged IMPD brutality

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Department of Public Safety plans to discuss the findings of the internal investigation related to the case of an Indianapolis teen who says police officers beat him last month .

A release from the department says Public Safety Director Frank Straub and Metro Police Chief Paul Ciesielski will attend the conference scheduled for Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Brandon Johnson, 15, says metro officers beat him following a situation involving his younger brother.

Four officers say Brandon Johnson was resisting arrest. Those four officers are currently on desk duty.
