INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts will be collecting new and gently used sports equipment before Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., donations will be taken outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate. The event is part of "Geared for Health," a program to promote an active lifestyle with the Indiana Sports Corporation.

All sports equipment donated Sunday will go benefit non-for-profit youth organizations, sports leagues, and clubs throughout Central Indiana to make sports more accessible for the underserved youth.

Indiana Sports Corporation is a nonprofit charitable organization. Over the past five years, Indiana Sports Corporation's Geared for Health program has collected more than 71,000 pieces of equipment to benefit more than 135,000 local youth through 160 Indianapolis area non-profit organizations.

The Colts will be collecting various items throughout the 2012  season to benefit various charity organizations in the area.
